Karni Mata, Incarnation of Goddess Durga

Sairam friends,

Though i live over 2000 miles away from the place where Karni Mata incarnated, i was inspired by Goddess Annapurani and Bhadra Kaali Amman to chant her only name along with name of our Shirdi Saibaba.

In the month of August 2012, i was going through a relationship issue. I offered Green Saree to Goddess Annapurani as inspired by her in Dream and kept chanting “Sai Annapurani” 2-3 days. On 20th August 2012, there was some obstacles road on way to office. So i walked back to go with one of my friend. Mean while, i decided to have a quick darshan in near  by Bhadra Kaali amman temple. I went inside the temple, saw Goddess Kaali dressed in Red saree and bowed to her. The priest offered me a Red Hibiscus flower.

I remembered the girl who was closed to me mention about a Temple in Rajasthan,Deshnok where there are thousands of Rats and the Goddess there is very powerful. I searched online and learnt that she’s actually a women Saint who lived in 13th to 15th century. I was happy because Saints are always caring and women basically are known for their “Caring Nature”.

I am very much devoted to Goddess Durga as i used to light lemon lamps to Durga for many years. So i believed a Saint who is actually a incarnation of Durga in ancient India certainly will be very graceful and its good to be devoted to her and know more about her.  Karni Mata has done many leela during her life span of over 150 years. Her temple is in Deshnok, Rajasthan and its popular for its home to over 20,000 Rats.

1. Karni Ma Saving her Father

Once her father was biten by snake and was found dead. Little Karni just with her miraculous words commanded her father to wake up. Her father woke up alive.

2. Uniting true Love and blessings for marriage with parents Ashirwad

She ordered a king to offer his daughter in marriage to Rao Bika. The king denied to do so. With in few days the King faced lots of problems and was caught by enemies. The enemies kept him in prison. The queen ran to Karni Mata to help her husband. Karniji told her that if her daughter is given in marriage to Rao bika, the king will be saved.

The marriage was arranged between the kings daughter and Rao bika was arranged. Many wondered how the marriage can happen without father whos in prison. Miraculous Karni mata flew as sacred Eagle (Garuda) to the prison and took him on the Eagle flight to his daughters marriage. From this leela i realized Karni Mata blesses couples to get married in peace with their respective parents blessings and devotion to her will avert all difficulties.

I am not chanting her name just for my selfish reason to be blessed with a married life with the girl i loved. I really consider it as a blessing to chant her name friends and to be devoted to her. Especially because i also love Goddess Durga. Karni Ma also inspired me to spread good messages to devotees of Sai and Karni mata that we all must learn to respect women in our life. There are so many women who after getting married face many difficulties. Some women worry as their son or husband is into a bad habit. If a women in family is respected, the family will grow togather and everyone can lead a peaceful life

I believed its good to spread few good messages to Devotees of Karni Mata like

1.Planting Trees and especially creating a Tulsi garden in devotees home

2. Respecting women in your life ( Be truthful to your Mom,Sister and wife)

3. Giving up bad habits by devoting to Karni Mata or any Goddess you love.

Durga Sahasranama – 1000 holy names of Goddess Durga

Its been over  3 weeks now as of september 9, 2012. I am still waiting patiently for Sai and Karni Mata leela. Today i was inspired to write about how i became devoted to Karni Ma in StarSai . While writing this article, i was listening to 1000 sacred names of Goddess Durga.

I am worried about my parents as they wish i get married to good girl and i am praying Sai, Saint Sreepadha Sree Vallabha and Karni Mata to bless me with the girl who loved me truly by their leela if shes the right girl for me. I requested them to wait untill the end of the month as i believe Durga and her incarnation along with Sai will do their Leela togather.

Usually, i chant sairam, sairam, sairam always in mind and for my present situation, i loved to chant “Sai Karni Mata” . I whole heartedly believe that one of my favourite Goddess who had incarnated as Karni Mata before 600 years will certainly help me.

Sai Karni, Show this humble devotee your grace..Sai Karni, i write this listening to your beautiful Aarti, I have tears in my eyes now. Please do leela in my life because like Sai, you pulled me to your holy feet to show devotion on you and made me spread your glory…
