Temple of Shirdi Sai Baba is your own heart Dear Shirdi Sai baba devotees, We all like go to shirdi saibaba samadhi mandhir, Dwarakamai and Chavdi in Shirdi atleast when ever we get a opportunity to travel to shirdi which is located in Maharastra state india. Few have habit to go to shirdi saibaba temple near by their locality every week or everyday. When ever we go to a Sai temple , we surely Ask some favours to our Sai . Its always good to do a small offering to our sai and imagine him sitting there in reality , welcoming you and when you offer fruits, flowers or Dakshina, feel that Sai is really accepting it with a smile. Chanting Sai Sai Sai in your mind : Usually you might be thinking about your problems, worries or desires in few issues while you are at shirdi saibaba temple. Its not wrong to ask baba to help you in any issues but at the same time if you want Sai to really help you, the best practice is to imagine that Shirdi Sai's temple is in your own heart...I mean your Mind.So keep chanting Sai sai sai .....its very simple to practice the name "SAI SAI SAI". Sai Baba's Assurance : Saibaba has said "Always repeat my name Sai Sai Sai ...It will wash away your past sins and your life will be filled with peace". I had not wrote the exact quotes of sai's assurance but What we must remember is , Sai dint ask us to say sai sai sai,as its his name....The Name "SAI" denotes saints generally.... True Saints are people who suffer for the sins done by their devotees and bless them with good life...... A Saint's past life must not be researched unless they will it be done during their life time: We all know Sai Baba was not the name of our Sai alone .When Sai appeared as 16 year old boy under a Neem tree in the village of Shirdi, People just saw him with surprise.No body knew his name,about his parents etc. Now a days people say many stories about Babas life before his appearance in shirdi....Theres a proverb that "We must not search for the origin of river...similarly we must not research the early life of saints unless they themselves willed to disclose it clearly during their life time' When Baba lived in shirdi for over 60 years, he just gave hints to few devotees but never disclosed his where abouts before his appearance in Shirdi....So this is not necessary at all....Because we must only take the teachings of a Saint and not get attracted to their past life and miracles....Because if we hardly think about Miracles also, the final substance of the miracle will surely have a Good Teachings in it. Meaning of SAI : Coming back to Value of chanting ( Naam saptah ) of Sai's Name.... Sai is the the name Mahalsapathi the priest of Kandoba temple and the people of shirdi used to call him with affection. When Saibaba got down of the cart , the priest of Kandoba temple welcomes him saying "Aao Sai" meaning "Welcome Sai" SAI means "Saints of Saints" Sai itself has a beautiful Meaning....Saint Ramakrishna paramahamsar lived during the same time in calcutta as Sai lived in Shirdi. Both have never met each other. But Ramakrishna has once spoke about the meaning of the word "SAI"....he said said Saints are people who has attained a state to speak to God internally....so imagine how powerful and pure is the word "SAI" because the meaning of SAI is "Saint of Saints"which means Sai is someone who has holy powers to the extent that he is considered As head of all Saints. Hope this makes you realize the value of always chanting sai sai sai sai sai sai sai sai sai deeeeeeeeeeep in your heart when ever... you are in sai temple you are travelling to college, office or any place you are doing some odd works please remember to chant SAI SAI SAI internally... This alone is purely the best way to destroy your sins,unwanted desires, and come out of karmic bond... Light Lamps regularly : Its always my Habit to request shirdi saibaba devotees to Light lamps or atleast candles when ever they visit any temple..... "The more lamps you light, The better your life will be" While coming around dhuni in saibaba temple at our place, i used to request many people who seem to be sad to light lamps regularly in a tray under our shirdi saibabas photo or saibaba statue.
