Vaibhava Lakshmi Pooja for Goddess Mahalakshmi

I have performed this pooja many times and reaped benefits.i have been doing every Friday as a routine. You have to plan for either 8 Fridays or 16 Fridays, preferably consecutively (skip during periods) the pooja is done on Friday evenings and can be done by both men and women. But please note that you should not stop puja until you fulfill your wish.
PRASANNA VAIBHAVA LAKSHMI VRATHA
Puja vidhan:
*** Wash face, hands and legs prior puja and apply kumkum (sindoor) on your forehead.
1. Vaibhav Lakshmi puja has to be performed every Friday evening
between 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
2. Clean the pooja area and do the rangoli (given in the book) or make a colored photocopy of rangoli and use the same.
3. in front of Vibhava Lakshmi’s photo, keep the Kalash (thali filled with rice and a bowl of water where any gold ornament immersed in it.) put haldi, kumkum and sandal powder into the Kalash, and treat this as Gajalakshmi sanidhya and offer/pray do puja with insense stick and so on.
NOTE: those who cant afford to use gold ornament can replace with silver coin or idol of Gajalakshmi.
4. when you end this puja, please share the prasadam (which you have made) as maha naivedya with the family members.
Please see the following ingredients are kept ready for puja.
Mantrakshathe (akshatha consists of raw rice haldi and kumkum).
A bowl half filled with water,
Gajje vastra (made of cotton haldi and kumkum)
Kapoor (camphor) for arti or even bathis (three, five or nine) dipped in ghee would do.
4. Please see that puja items are kept on the floor close to your feet.
5. Do remember to pray SRI MANN. NARAYAN AND THEN DO LAKSHMI PUJA.

Jaganmate yada sri deviya ananta kalyana rupagalalli vaibhava lakshmi rupavu ondu. Thanna eda bala galalli sampatdyotakavada gajagalinda devi sevithalagiddale. Aakeya aralida tavareya mele sukhasinlagidhale. Chaturbhujagalinda shobhisuva maatheya Melina eradu hastagalalli aralida tavare hugalannu bhakti shradhe gala sanketavagi darisidhale. Kelabhagad eradu hastagalinda bhaktarige balahastadinda apara dhana sampatannu eda hastadinda abhayavannu needi anugrahisutiddaale.
Vaibhava lakshmiya mahime aparavadaddu. Anadi kaladindalu aake yannu bhakti yinda pujisida halavaru bhaktaru sakala soubhaghya sampattugalannu padedu iha para sukhagalannu galisi dhanyaraagiddaare.

Harasuva karunamayi yada yee jaganmate yannu tappade aaradhisabeku.
Lakshmiya krupe illade narayana na krupeyu illa. Makkalu modalu thayi yannu more hoegu vante navu aake yannu “o jaganmate anathanu sakala daaridrya galindalu balaluthiruva nannannu sarvatha salahu. Ninna krupe yindale jeevanadalli entu bagheya ai siriyannu padeyalu sadhyavagide. Ninna paramanugrahavidhare tirukanu srimanta naga balla” endu bhakti yinda prarthisona.

Virncha janani, vidya, sarojasana, sarvabheeshta phalaprada emba hanneradu 12 punyakara namagalannu prataha kaladalli yaaru patisuvaro avaru ellaa bhageya abheeshta galannu padeyutare.

Narada, parashara, Bhrugu, Agastai, muntada maha mahimaru aake yannu pujisi dhanya radaru sri deviyu tannannu nambida bhaktarannu endendigu kai biduvudilla. Heegiruvaga Vaibhava lakshmi yannu tappade prati shukravara saralavagi yaadaroo pujisi dhanyaraagona.
Here are some evidences where plenty suhagans have fulfilled their wishes by doing this puja.
A husband from Bangalore tried visa to the U S and his visa got rejected 4 times then his wife did vaibhav lakshmi vrat and within eight weeks of puja her husband got visa and flew t to the US and today he is the head of that branch in Uttara Khand.
With Vaibhav Lakshmi’s grace just within two weeks of puja her husband got RS. 2000/- unknowingly and her son got a job.
A man who was ailing with a disease and had lost hopes of living – his wife did this vrat and he was cured with simple treatment.

Wear flower from vaibhava lakshmi kalash as Prasad and give other suhagans also.
BADHRAM – SUBHAM – MANGALAM
This puja has to be performed till one’s wish is fulfilled.
For naivedya (prasadam) you can offer
1. Kheer (made out of Vermicelli as goddess lakshmi like this a lot.)
2. Sweet pongal (made of rice, green dal, sugar/jaggery, ghee, milk)
3. sajjige (sooji ka halwa)
4. Fried gram, sugar, dry coconut grated and ground together.
5. bananas, chopped, mixed with coconut and sugar.
6. Any other sweet dish which you know- can be made.
Once your wish is fulfilled then
Please invite atleast 8 suhagans and give them sindoor/haldi/bangles/beetle leaves/ beetle nut/ coconut/ banana or any fruit. And if possible coins, and vaibhav lakshmi vrat book to each one of them.
While you give them these please chant this mantra-
Devi dehi param gnanam devi dehi param sukham|
Dhanam dehi yasho dehi kamam mokshancha dehi meh||

I have one request i forgot to add- who ever does this puja has to put a red rose(preferably) or any red flower and the gold ornament or idol of goddess lakshmi- in the bowl of water and place the rangoli under the kalash if they are using photocopy of rangoli or do the rangoli and then place kalash on it.

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful pooja details, I wanted to know if we start this pooa is it necessary that the pooja has to be one strech 8 weeks their would be days we could miss out due to normal women problem. and also wanted to know we have to do this pooja at the same place where we start. If in case we cannot do the pooja in same can we do the pooja in another location time.
Do be free , Mine is a Love marriage and have married a inter religion guy, My husband supports me to follow my things but my in laws do like me following my pooja, So i usually do the pooja in the pooja room when my in ;aws are not their, when they visit us i usually shift all my god idols to my room cupboard .
This is the reason i wanted to know if we need to do in the same place were we start.
Kindly let me know as i want to do this pooja, Have got some problems going on In my life. I have hope it would get resolved by this pooja.

guide for the new ones.i have a doubt as well i am performing this vaibhavalakshmi puja
i have taken oath for doing this for 9 weeks but as of some problem i thought of doing it only 4 weeks
can i do that .there is no other way so that i am thinking like that.and while distributing the vaibhava lakshmi
books some body told me that i need to distribute 8 books atleast.but i found only 3 people who agreed to take the books.keeping all this in mind i am bit worried.can you please help me in this.seeking for your reply

As you may be aware Goddess Lakshmi is in 8 form hence I request you to continue for the said weeks. It also seems like you have concluded the puja – Please restart the puja for 9 weeks and then distribute to 8 suhagans – 1 book, 4 bangles, Turmeric and kumkum packet, flower, coconut, fruit (If you find difficult to arrange for 8 coconuts then omit this but please distribute the rest.)
Please stick to the oath taken by you.

You have mentioned that your in laws like you doing Puja. If it is a typing error then ….
Please keep in mind while shifting to a different place – Puja place should be elevated few feet from the floor by placing a Peeta or table. See that puja ingredients are also at the same height and they are in your walk way.
AS YOU HAVE MENTIONED YOU CAN CONTINUE TO DO PUJA IN THE CUP BOARD:)

To answer your question – Is it necessary to do such long rituals?
There are may reasons- I would like to mention one thing here-
Be it a Puja, chanting, meditation etc. all these Shradha, Bhakti, Saburi (Patience)

I have one question, is Prasanna Vaibhava Laxmi puja and Vaibhava Laxmi puja the same thing or the different????? I have heard about either 11 or 21 weeks vrat for Vaibhava Laxmi but here you are saying 8 weeks so i am little bit confused. Can you please clarify my confusion

How are you.. i am good. with all your help and blessing of goddess vaibhav laxmi, i have starated my puja and took sankalp for 8 weeks and i have completed 7 weeks need your advice.
As per pooja condition we should do pooja till our wish is fulfilled, since i have completed 7 weeks my wish is not yet fulfilled. pls suggest me when and how should i do udyapan. should i go ahead and do it next week as per sankalp taken was for 8 weeks or i can do udyapan anytime after 8 weeks after wish is fulfilled and should i continue fasting as well. I am very confused and tensed because i am very scared while doing puja which i never did it before.
I dnot know how to say, i am feeling that ma is not happy with me, for the past 2 weeks i feeling that i am better than others or some odd feelings, may be i am feeling proudish (i am not proudish) or these are my illussions (told you to share my feelings.. sorry if i said something wrong).

I am considering to start the vrat after reading all the comments and puja vidhanam, before I start I want to clarify few things :
1. i know that I can start on any friday, but do we keep the kalash and pooja mandap/arrangemtents for the whole period of puja weeks, that means if I perform pooja for 11 weeks, do I leave the decoration and arrangements for 11 weeks, or start every week with the same arrangement?
2. If I start do I continue it every year?

Yes you could start the puja on any Fridays, Kalash, decoration is done only on the day of Puja and this can be removed the next day.
It is up to ones wish whether to do this puja regularly or stop once the wish is fulfilled.

Invite – 8 suhagans –
Offer, prasad or meals as per your wish and then give them Kumkum(Sindoor), haldi(Turmeric), flower, four bangles, beetal leaves, beetal nuts, banana, Coconut, Vaibhava Lakshmi book. (This is what we give away to suhagans in southern part of India.
May Goddess Lakshmi fulfill all your needs.

Though I have gone through your article. I am unmarried and I want to do this pooja for progression. The pooja method you have mentioned like ”kalshodaka ” ”akshata and water in argya patra ”, few things like this I was not able understand. Do I have to read the book ! while doing pooja…
Somewhere I read we have to fast for 11 or 21 weeks till the time the wish is fulfilled. Its all little confusing.

I have planned for 8 weeks pooja and finished 7 weeks so far. On many posts, it said 7, 9, 11, 21 weeks. I come from Andhra south and i have believed 8 weeks for Ashta lakshmi 8 godesses. So, next week is my last one. My question here is i have 9 books and i invited 8 suhagans and 1 kanya for udyanapana. Is that fine? Can i invite more than 8 married women coz i feel odd not inviting couple of other friends but i do not have enough books for all of them. Is it sufficient i give 8 books to married women and rest just the tambulam? Please help me with this.
