Sairam friends,
I love Princess Diana.
When I was in School my Dad’s colleague showed us video of the Royal Wedding ceremony of Princess Diana and Prince Charles. This uncle’s brother had an Indian restaurant in Rome, Italy. So he had this collection of royal wedding video tape.
The way Diana walked with her Father in the Church ceremony, that smile which emerges in the corner of her lips, the way She got married to Charles. Its was beautiful to see. Years later, When a fatal car accident in France triggered by news photographers chasing her car broke into the news, I can’t bear the shock. The whole world admired this women – She was the face of humanity and love and we all wished Diana must have lived longer.
One beautiful quote I repeatedly mention in StarSai said by Princess Diana is this.
“Yes, I do touch. I believe that everyone needs that”
Irrespective of surviving the most conservative office environment in the whole of Nation where some idiotic girl complaint against me for reasons unknown, I continue to have this idea that when you want to show that you care to your friends, you should touch them.
I write this because in most Indian families the only Son or Daughter are either living in another city or settled abroad. When their parents are sick, they call them on Skype or Google Duo and talk to them few minutes. Well, I understand your situation but I call it “Virtual Love”. I have a special term for it in Tamil – “Phone Paasam”.
Remember this,
Be it your parents, husband, wife, relative or friend. Unless you are physically present when they need you most, you are not doing much. This is why I love Diana’s words. You have to touch. That’s human!
The most painful of all in life is to live without a Mother and Harry William would have crossed those pains at an early age.
Why do people get married?
I named India as “Marriage Nation” as its hard to survive in this country without getting married. Even when you are happy, people assume you are unhappy. The best part is, people even assume, you are unhappy when others get married…he he… I would rather be jealous of Elon Musk for what he has achieved through the gaint companies he has created.
I remember this dialogue from a Hollywood movie – “The question is…Why do people get married?”
1.Does it teach you about
“Keeping your word?”
Yeah!
When you promise a girl or a guy, you would marry her/him, You have to. If you can’t keep your words in relationship, there’s no point in being honest in any other issue on Planet Earth.
This isn’t a promise that’s delivered on the day of wedding. This is a promise made for lifetime.
That you marry this girl and be a part of her for rest of her life.Isn’t this beautiful?
2.Marriage teaches you about togetherness. It teaches you about being selfless in a way you live for each other.
3.Belong to someone!
“Marriage tells the world that you belong to someone and someone belongs to you”
The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry William and Meghan Markle is awesome. It makes me feel elated. You can see 1000 weddings but Royal weddings are about people like us who celebrate their togetherness.
Look at the crowd! Who invited them? Are they relatives and friends of Harry and Meghan.? They are people who show their love for the Royal family and their gesture makes me feel light in heart.
Well wishers line the street as Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Princess Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, ride along the Long Walk in the Ascot Landau carriage.

Being a photographer, I firmly believe, only when there’s enough darkness in an image, the brighter areas shines adding life to the subject. The same goes with your life. The darker it gets, the brighter you would shine.
I admire the below Photography work. Classic! As Meghan Markle walks in the chapel.
The best part of this royal wedding is the fact that Meghan Markle is 3 years elder than prince William. She is a divorce and She’s ethnically American! Irrespective of all this differences their love succeded to blossom as a beautiful wedding ceremony!
This makes me realize that when you are truly in love, your previous relationships where you were hurt shouldn’t stop you, Your age shouldn’t stop you, What you do and where you are from should certainly never stop you.
“Because, in Love, the only thing that matters is if you are truly in love”
True love endures all the obstacles and pain.
Some girls write to me asking how to take key decisions regarding their marriage. At times, dropping chits infront of Shirdi Saibaba or asking guidance from others won’t help. So here’s another beautiful words from Princess Diana.
“Only do what your heart tells you.”
I feel happy for this wedding since I see it from a Mother’s perspective. In the chapel, a seat was left empty in honour of Princess Diana. I believe if not from that seat, some where in the sky, this wonderful princess who was a symbol of humanity during her time would look down at her beloved Son’s wedding. The Son who endured the pain of a Mother’s loss finally met the love of his life and married her!
(Minutes after I wrote this article, there was a huge claim on Twitter that there was no seat alloted for Diana and its a fake news. Such is the world we created using technology. News reaches you as fast as lightning but it takes hours to verify if its a real news)
A Twitter user Candace wrote this
Diana, your son got married today. The flowers in Meghan’s bouquet were hand picked by him from your garden. The hymn they sang was played at your funeral. You may not have been there in person, but you were definitely there in spirit. You’d be so proud of him.
Diana,
Your Daughter in law is wearing the aquamarine ring thats yours! Hope that makes you happy.
Some women will be remembered forever for what they are and not how they look and you are one among them.
Harry and Meghan has honoured you in many ways as featured in the Time magazine
“The newlyweds asked wedding guests to donate to one of the charities of their choice in lieu of wedding gifts. Two of their selected charity focus on causes close to Diana’s heart: helping children dealing with HIV and AIDS and fighting to end homelessness.”
I love this wedding song sung in the chapel.
Stand by Me | Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchange vows – The Royal Wedding – BBC
When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we’ll see
No I won’t be afraid, no I won’t be afraid
Just as long as you stand, stand by me
And darlin’, darlin’, stand by me, oh now now stand by me
Stand by me, stand by me
If the sky that we look upon
Should tumble and fall
And the mountains should crumble to the sea
I won’t cry, I won’t cry, no I won’t shed a tear
Just as long as you stand, stand by me
Whenever you’re in trouble won’t you stand by me, oh now now stand by me
Oh stand by me, stand by me, stand by me
When you are in relationship, when you are going through pain and obstacles, remember that there are people who have gone through the same and found happiness in their relationship. Love certainly endures.
Secondly, Parents at times worry that their Son or Daughter is not in good relationship and are into bad company. Its good to see someone who leads a elite and royal life like Price Harry gets married in a orthodox way to the women he truly loved. Being rich and earning big must not ruin your charecter. Learn to find true love and true love will help you chase out all the evil in your life.
Yes. Marriage really is beautiful as long as you have taken the right decision. As long as you have found someone who would stay by you for rest of your life. It takes Guru’s blessings to get this wisdom to understand that someone you love is really in love with you.
I sincerely pray all Sai children to be blessed with a beautiful married life!
Om Sai Ram
