Sairam friends,
There are millions of Sai Devotees who doubt if Sai really is helping them at some point in their life because Sai never speaks. Sai guides in his own ways. Sai leela is hard to understand. He alone knows his ways. This article is expression of such a feeling in me.
Its 12.45 at night. Already my parents are scolding me a lot and asking what I am doing all night until 2 A.M without sleeping. If I say that am writing article in StarSai, they will surely put molaga podi ( chilli powder) in my eyes and hang me upside down. He he… already my parents are worried that I am going to become a saint.
Last Sunday, we went to a priest whom we know from his fathers generation for over 30 years. He is our well wisher and was very kindly scolding me “Why you don’t want to marry?” I said “I don’t like these girls my parents ask me to marry. I don’t find it natural when we start a relationship by such match making. ” I am supposed to give a list of whom I am, what I do and am supposed to say if I like a girl or not.
To me, its doesn’t sound good to say “No” to a girl after I meet her. I pleaded my parents please let me not meet someone and say No. I don’t wanna hurt any girl. Its OK if a girl says NO to me as i am used to it. ..he he… Further, I am worried if a girl I marry will truly know my nature. What if she don’t like me or my parents as the days pass on? I love my parents so much baba.
I told the priest, tell my parents that I am not going to be a saint and I can’t because that’s not Sai’s way. Shirdi Sai Baba’s ways are very practical. He always wanted his devotees to live life the way it should be. Just that I believe relationships must happen naturally. We must like someone, know someone and then marry.
My sister called up from U.S to night and asked me why I am so sad. I told her ‘I feel sad for Amma and Appa but I haven’t met someone I feel happy about and hope Sai shows me the right girl. ”
Matri sitela oru sila ponunga, Black glasses potrukadha paatha bayama iruku Baba. ( The way some girls have their goggles on their head and giving a pose with a big smile and here comes the description about themselves. )
“I am a soft spoken girl, a mixture of modernity and family values. I belong to a respectable family & brought up to uphold Hindu traditional values. I am a well educated .I am a intelligent, mature, jovial and independent. I am a sweet matured charming girl. Believe in simplicity and innocence. Mature enough to understand life. Has a very positive attitude”
Podhuma? Enough.
(Idha nammbi express interest kudukaadha Venki..Maatipa….Yaaro ipidi solra maari iruku baba. Seri paravaalanu try panniten. YEEEEEEEEEEE i DID IT…..ye ye yeeeeeeeeee.)
To tell a girl you like her just with the way she describes herself isn’t life. I know she won’t like me. (Semma “Bulbu” vaanga poren) If a girl who has seen me personally and spoken to me for months can’t know my heart, I wonder if a girl to whom I am a complete stranger would like me.
More than 80,000 Sai devotees comes to starsai every month and soon will touch One lakh a month. I don’t want to always sound sad. So tried to be sarcastic in this article. ( Sirikradha aluradha therila baba.) I don’t know if i should smile or cry when i think of my self.
How stupid I am in a world with lots of secrets and bunch of privacy policies, I write all that’s too personal to me. Sometime later, I might remove these articles …May be not…. Probably because I know my life belongs to Sai baba of Shirdi as i always say
“Sai, You are my heart ! You are my soul and as long as i live, you live in my heart”
Sometimes, I suddenly feel tears in my eyes and hate being caught in a culture where one is surely supposed to marry. (De pandra da. Yenda paakravenelaa kekureeenga. Idhula Londonla irundhu atha pesinaanga, Americala irundhu pesinaanga, venkatku eppa kalyaanamnu…).
When my Mom tells me she’s worried when relatives asks when am going to get married, I tell her, I can’t marry just because others ask. It’s going to happen. Baba will show me right girl.
Why are these relatives so concerned? Kadupethuraan mylord….he he….
This article is expression of cultural flavour happening in every Indian family.
I get mails from some aunties asking me to pray for their daughters to get married. Sometimes, girls mail me saying they wish to meet their right guy. I surely reply them with prayers and ask them to do some good deeds like giving food in temple or saree to poor women with flowers etc.
There was this girl who kept mailing me for 2-3 years asking me what Pooja to do, which temple to go etc and finally when she mailed that she’s getting married, I felt happy.
I never say such things to my parents. If i proudly say them, “You know few girls and guys got married and are leading happy life by my advice?” they immediately irritate me saying “Unna ooruku ubadhesam panna pethuruken” .( I have given birth to you to show way for the world)
May be I am doing this because I am indebted.( Kadan patruken baba). I have to help as many Sai children as i can before I die.
I wish to create a place called “Star Sai” . Where people come in and learn
how beautiful is life,
How beautiful is Sai and
How surprisingly sweet it is to be born is a sacred country like India.
I have tears in eyes when I complete this article. Sai, you always smile in your statue and Photo but you never speak to me. I expect you to guide me in dream. I wish you speak to me soon. I know your ways are unique. I can’t simply marry someone because am getting old.
Sai, You say it best when you say nothing at all
Many devotees might have the same feeling as i do. Why Sai is not speaking. That Sai is too busy with his crores of devotees. The truth is, Sai is speaking when ever we look at him deeply with faith and devotion.
When ever I close my eyes and remember Sai, I know Sai is speaking to me…….Silently.
because when Saints wants to tell you something, they let you experience it yourself but not necessarily speak it out.
Once a devotee asked Saibaba to give him Mantra upadesa, Sai told him, “I am not a ear whispering Guru”.
Similarly, we can’t expect Sai to spoon feed us with guidance. May be Saibaba want’s me take life practical and follow my parents words. Sai, I love to listen to my parents and make them happy. At the same time, I am yours and my life is your responsibility.
I feel like crying now baba…
When I started writing this article, I was listening to one of my favorite song by Ronan Keating in youtube.
“You say it best when you say nothing at all”
Its a song which has a beautiful meaning. Sometimes, when you want to express how much you love your parents, friends or husband/wife or children, It isn’t necessary to speak. You can say it with your silence because your loved one knows to read your mind – how much you love them?.
No body will know what’s happening between your heart and mine and how we communicate our affection and love even when we say nothing. If you remember Shirdi Sai Baba in your heart and read this lyrics you will surely feel Sai is speaking to you without uttering a word.
“When You Say Nothing At All”
It’s amazing how you
Can speak right to my heart.
Without saying a word
You can light up the dark.
Try as I may, I could never explain
What I hear when you don’t say a thing.
[Chorus:]
The smile on your face
Lets me know that you need me.
There’s a truth in your eyes
Saying you’ll never leave me.
The touch of your hand says you’ll catch me whenever I fall.
You say it best when you say nothing at all.
All day long I can hear
People talking out loud (oooh).
But when you hold me near (you hold me near)
You drown out the crowd (the crowd, the crowd).
Try as they may, they can never define
What’s been said between your heart and mine.
[Chorus:]
The smile on your face
Lets me know that you need me.
There’s a truth in your eyes
Saying you’ll never leave me.
The touch of your hand says you’ll catch me wherever I fall.
You say it best (you say it best) when you say nothing at all.
‘Cause you say it best (you say it best) when you say nothing at all.
Sai, I feel like crying when I listen to this song and remember our relationship for several births together…I know we are connected with each other birth after birth and still we are not bored of each other…
Sai………
That smile on your face,
The truth in your eyes,
The look in your eyes,
The touch of your hand
Lets me know that you need me.
Sai, You say it best when you say nothing at all because you live in my heart as antaryami – the one who lives in the walls of my heart.
I believe relationships must happen naturally baba…
Sai, Can’t you ever speak to me…
Love

Always in the holy feet of Shirdi Sai baba
Its going to be 2.30 at night now. I shall sleep before my parents scold me baba…Please come in my dream and speak to me.
edit: I lit lamp and slept praying Sai to show me a way. Baba didn’t came in dream. Other day he showed me dream of my past girl when I tried to change myself and I scolded him saying “When I try to change, why do you show her in dream? Is she going to come back? No na? She’s happy now. So better leave me alone” Ever since I told saibaba like this, Sai is not showing me any dream. Baba forgive me. I can’t understand your ways. Love you sai !
Baba is planning for the “ever best” for you. Yours parents will be happy and proud about you.
You read many stories of other devotees and try you best to help them through with your advice/suggestions. You need not worry about your life, as Baba is surely working out something precious for you…:)
