I am lost

Sairam friends,

I have  been going through lots of troubles the past 2 days.  I really got fed up with wordily life as I am not able to fulfill others expectations on me. I wish to quit everything and do a project and am planning for it. I have never seen India the way I wish to see it. I have never been places and never created anything good.

My 35 years is wasted and irrespective of the fact that I keep reading a lot about Startups and Entrepreneurs, I don’t have constant effort  and dedication in what I do.

I wanted to create a better world and for that I myself have to change some normal stuff in the way I see the world and myself. I really wanted to come out of all this shackles and do something that makes me feel I have contributed something.

As I get old my insecurities are increasing. I lost confidence in myself and what I believe will be my future.

  • Hi Venkat

You are blessed guy as Sai is training you to become self-realized.Dont worry about wordly issues. You are doing great work and keep it up.

  • I feel the same way about myself & just as u expressed I have a lot of projects but success is far away…. I wish to do more but the shackles of age & time bound me…

  • Your articles and support and faith in Sai bring solace to many who come here including me. So don’t feel bad that you are not doing anything worthwhile. In western countries, age is not a factor whether it’s for marriage or earning a degree in 70s or even 80s etc. In the East, people are bound by what the society dictates and expects of people, thus creating unnecessary pressure to get married by certain age, have kids by a certain age, retire at a certain age etc.

If you can ignore that and think that your whole life is still ahead of you (it is indeed), you will feel free and do whatever your heart desires and what Sai ultimately wants you to do. It opens up your mind and horizon. Hope you don’t lose hope. Jai Sairam!
