Baba, Make yourself my Guru

Sairam friends,

I have just 10 minutes to write this as I woke up late. Every night, I am doing some editing work for short film and its just image play. I really don’t like how it has come out and its not professional. Further, I sleep late night at 2 o clock because of which I am too tired and even if Sai blesses me with a dream, I can’t remember it well. I am going to tell my friends that I don’t want to work on it. Its really not useful for anyone accept that I believe it can make them laugh.

Anyway, Few Sai children are concerned what happened to me if I don’t write article 2-3 days or its probably disappointment due to not having any thing New in StarSai. So I shall try to write at least few words today.

Baba, Make yourself my Guru

Many devotees used to come to Saibaba during his lifetime in Shirdi. It was only after 1910 that people from various parts of India especially Mumbai started flooding to Shirdi and Sai became very famous. Sai never differentiates between rich and poor devotees. To Sai, all are one and the same. Sai knows what goes through a devotees mind and if they really have pure devotion, Sai blesses them happily.

Once a Rich lady came to Shirdi and stayed there for 4 days with her family. She expected Sai will give importance to her since she’s wealthy. Every day, she used to go to Dwarakamai with Plate full of Money and stood before Saibaba.

Sai never bothered her at all.

On the fourth day, the Lady lost her patience and said

“Baba, I have come here for a Guru. Accept this plateful of money as Dakshina and make yourself my Guru. Please give me upadesa.

Baba looked at her and replied

“It is not the Guru that makes himself your Guru. It is you who must regard him as Guru by having complete faith in him. Take a piece of Pot and worship it as your Guru and see if your goal or Aim is reached or not.”

It teaches us that Sai will work in our life when we realize that it is we who choose him to be our Guru and only when we have Faith on Sai, Sai will be happy about us. We must not have have ego or any other issues with the Guru.

Worship Sai whole heartedly and Sai will surely do good to you and your family.
