Celebrating 25 years of World Wide Web with Shirdi Saibaba

Sairam friends,

I was planning some web projects last night and working on it. I happen to read this article about 25 years since the invention of World Wide Web written by Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the web.

“Twenty-five years ago today, I filed the proposal for what was to become the World Wide Web. My boss dubbed it ‘vague but exciting’. Luckily, he thought enough of the idea to allow me to quietly work on it on the side.

In the following quarter-century, the Web has changed the world in ways that I never could have imagined. There have been many exciting advances.  It has generated billions of dollars in economic growth, turned data into the gold of the 21st century, unleashed innovation in education and healthcare, whittled away geographic and social boundaries, revolutionized the media, and forced a reinvention of politics in many countries by enabling constant two-way dialogue between the rulers and the ruled”

I slept off listening to stories of Mahalakshmi in my mobile and had few dreams. Infact all the dreams were too short and I told myself to Sai and Lakshmi that I kept chanting your holy name but you never showed me that your grace is on me. Then when I woke up only i remembered Sai has blessed with a very beautiful dream.

It was like this.

Actually, I had prayed Saint Adi Sankara regarding an issue. So in the dream I saw as below.

I am going in a Mini bus and I see some devotees carrying Palki of Adi Sankara in the road. I wanted to offer dakshina to Adi shankara. The bus conductor also seems to be interested in offering dakshina.

So he stopped the bus. In the group of devotees carrying Palki ( Pallaku), I see a very innocent man carrying Shirdi Saibaba’s Photo and comes near us. I offer some coins from my pocket. The surprising thing was I also offer very old 10 paise and 20 paise coins and feel embarrassed why I am giving such old coins.

The bus conductor also wishes to give Dakshina and he also gives these old 20 paise coins.

Finally, 2 Silver Coins with very beautiful Shirdi Saibaba over it falls over the innocent man’s palm.

One coin is small. I take it and examine the coin. Sai was so beautifully inscribed in one side of Coin and on the other side was a holy Snake. I touch the snake and felt its blessing of “Nagasai”

Then I take the bigger Sai Silver Coin. This coin is in shape of hexagon. Something is written on it but I can’t remember. Sai was smiling in this Silver coin.

The innocent man( He’s little mentally ill) tells me “I do Bhajan..I do Bhajan of Sai and Sai keeps blessing me”

I smile to him and keep the coin back in his palm.

I am happy for this dream at least because its Thursday and Sai showed me his presence. Like how Sai gave Lakshmi bai shinde with 9 Coins as a symbol of “9 forms of Bhakti- Devotion”, Probably Sai wants me to work on StarSai holy feet network inspiring Sai children in the Path of Sai.

I felt Sai has blessed me showing Silver coin as to him its way of celebrating “Silver Jubilee” of WWW.

I love Internet and all that I have done over these years from 1999 is because of Internet.

Most of what I learned to do was from the tutorials I read online and most of what I learned is through articles I read online. There was a time before 10 years, I used to spend whole day in cybercafe with no meaning in life and learning how to make my websites. I have worked on various commercial websites and also had my ecommerce dream. I have come out with hundreds of Ideas. Where are the domains I registered and what happened to my ideas?

StarSai alone is with me because Sai knows this is my breath.

Sometimes, When net is not working at home, I get so irritated and upset with Saibaba…he he…That you can’t even give this to me properly. Such is my love for World wide web. It has helped me connect with thousands of Sai devotees across the globe, learn better about life and Sai and gave meaning to my life.

Lets thank each and every scientist, designer, developer and millions of professionals who built a way to connect with people and make the world a better place. When ever we do anything for the welfare of people and that is done selflessly, it certainly serves the world and that’s why today we are celebrating 25th year of WWW.

Sai taught me to create more works with love for Humanity and that can bring a positive change in lives of many people.
