Sairam friends,

When ever any Sai devotee writes me about their problem, I request them to do Naam Smaran – Chanting of Gods name. I believe Naam Saptah is chanting Gods/saints name continuously for 7 days. Even today, there are groups who do such Sai Naam Saptah but I always encourage people who do it individually with love on Shirdi Saibaba.

One of the oldest article in StarSai is below which I wrote when I left my work at Film school and Mumbai and I din’t had a job in Coimbatore. I was thinking if I should go back to Mumbai but believed Sai will show me a way and kept quiet.

Those days, I did some freelancing work and spent most of my time in Nagasai Mandhir. I used to clean Dhuni, Sweep Dwarakamai, clean the place devotees wash their feet ( my friends do it better than me. I mostly play with water) and of course filter the hot sacred ashes and carry bag full of udi inside temple.

Even yesterday someone at work was asking me to join them to a Shirdi Saibaba temple near by my work at Saravanampatti in Coimbatore. I told them, I wish to go someday but my love for Nagasai doesn’t let me go to any other temple that easily. I have more than 20 year of bond with this Nagasai and I know for sure that I have a been in love with Sai birth after birth. This relationship with Sai is so beautiful and divine.

Anyway, Yesterday was a little embarrassing for me since the 3 girls we trained were expecting to join for work but the situation was that only one could be selected.  I like helping people learn and after I left Film School, this was a good opportunity for me to show a way to someone. I had wrote an article about it earlier.

Steps to take for Better Communication – Good listening, speaking and writing skills

I don’t like to see anyone I know personally getting upset about their Career because I struggled a lot in my past. I lit 3 lamps for these girls and prayed for them last Friday and this is all I could do.

I receive so many mails from women who are married – Some are happy and some face lot of troubles. So I had always tried to encourage girls to continue their education as much as they can and pursue a good career. Women who earn better doesn’t have to be dependent on others in time of need.

There are few people whom we meet for a while and we must do all we can to make them grow ahead. So to the girls who could not get a Job at our work place, I told them, there are better opportunities and they must continue to learn and never get dis appointed. The last five mouth, when ever I take a break, I used to get Chocolates for them and even my friends made fun of me.  To me, Its different. When you don’t have anything in mind, you can do what ever you wish to do.

I have seen girls from most part of North India when I worked as a faculty in Film School and I see them as my children and these girls aren’t any different. My perception of life has changed over years.

I came home and told my Mom that I prayed for these girls who weren’t able to get Job here and hope they have a good career ahead. My Mom said, girls are smart these days and they can surely find a better job soon. This relaxed me. I din’t felt like doing any work and slept off.

I saw someone famous in Indian Film Industry in dream. I had  gone to his office years back and I have immense respect for him. When ever I see this celebrity, I get a hint that Sai is doing something for my Filmmaking Career. This time, I wonder why I saw this dream.

Many people tell me that you get dreams of what you remember etc but I personally know how Sai has been guiding me over the years. Most of the time, it doesn’t work but at times, Sai does miracles.

Anyway, The reason why I wrote this article is because I received a mail from a devotee who had done Naam Saptah and felt happy after reading the article about my 7 day chanting of Sai, Sai Sai.

From Past 1 week i.e from June 3rd 2014 till today, I have been doing Nam Saptah. I have also not used any hard and fast rules, I must agree I have done it in a childish way. Today June 11th I came across this article coincidentally while I was searching for something else. I would consider this as a miracle from my God,SAIBABA, to read this article today, after doing one week of Namsaptah,also as somekind of blessing from him saying I am in the right path of devotion. I would like to continue this namsaptah for whole of this life.

One more thing I understood from this article is ,”Total Surrender” to him. I have been praying to him from past 15 years, but never it striked to me about “Total Surrender”.This article has made me think about it , maybe it was the Nam Saptah’s Result.
