If difficulties are like mountains,climb up because Sai wants you to live on Top

Sairam friends,

Last evening, I went to Shirdi Sai Baba temple in my hometown and remembered the past. Somehow I could not forget few incidents and felt painful. I wanted to have darshan of Radhe Krishna in the near by North Indian temple. So went there and truly loved Radhe Krishna, Shiv Ling and Hanuman. The Hanuman priest is very close to me. I told him, the thread I had tied in my hand is torn and if he has a new one.

He gave me a thread which was deep Orange color and said he has kept it in Hanuman’s holy feet for 48 days. I found the color too vibrant but felt Hanuman wants me to tie it.

Since I listen to people where ever i go, the priests also tell their problems to me. He was telling that he had fight with his wife as her brother promised to come for  a Pooja and then denied.  I kept nodding my head as I didn’t know what to say.  I was there for a while and came home.

I asked my Father to tie the Hanuman’s thread in my hand and wanted to see some movie about Lord Hanuman.  I found a movie about Thulsi Das who was ardent devotee of Lord Rama and Hanuman and played it. I could not follow the movie as I felt asleep.

I was blessed with the following dream

Dream of Two Mountains tied together

I had a dream as if two mountains are tied with a huge rope together. I could clearly see the mountains side by side and tied by a huge yellow rope. I didn’t really understood the dream but since Lord Murugan loves to live in Mountains in his Temple, I kept remembering Marudhamalai Murugan.

When I woke up, I felt black and din’t know what to write.

I felt may be Saibaba means to say ….

“Mountains” are actually difficulties, problems and obstacles in our life

We must face these difficulties with confidence and never stop our journey in fear of how big these problems are

Keep walking and climb up the mountain.

No matter how big the difficulty is, you can surely climb up as Sai is not going to let you down.

Keep remembering Sai will bless you with a good life someday and face your problems and difficulties.

Someday, You will reach the peak of the Mountain

Its misty and a gentle breeze touches your soul. When you look down the world below, you will realize “Its Beautiful”

Life is like this.

When we actually face problems and difficulties, we feel its very painful and God is not helping us but we must keep the journey going. Someday, when we reach the Top and look down, we will realize, only these difficulties made us what we are.

My experience climbing mountain

Many years back, when I was in school, myself and my friend Kanna went to Anuvavi Subramanian Temple in Coimbatore. The temple is in the same Hill but on other side of famous Marudha Malai temple. After having Darshan of Hanuman and Murugan in Anuvaavi, we came down to a Karuparayan temple in foot hills.

We asked the priest there what will come if we climb the mountain and reach other side. He said, Its the same mountain of Marudha Malai and if we climb up, we can go to foot hills of Marudhamalai.

Kanna was eager to climb up the mountain. So we started walking close to the mountains foot hills parallel to mountain so that we can start climbing when the height of mountain is small. We started climbing. Kanna goes ahead of me in the rocks and bushes and I would follow him.

At one stage, there was a huge rock steep ahead of us and I din’t know how to climb. Kanna held a bunch of grasses grown through the rock and climbed up coolly. I was scared. He asked me not to fear and hold the grasses. I asked him what if the grasses comes with my hand? Then I will fall down. He said, its roots are deep in the rocks. So its strong enough.

Then I somehow managed to climb up.

Finally we reached the top. The are we climbed was directly parallel to Bharathiar University. We felt soooo happy. We could see few tiny huts. Marudhamalai Murugan Temple and also the road below. We started walking down the hill quickly. Suddenly we saw around 10 Cows staring us as if we both are aliens. The funny thing is that all the Cows turned to us as they probably didn’t expect us there. I was really scared as their Horns were sharp.

I told my friend “De Kanna, endra ipidi paakudhu, oodiralaama”

“Why are the Cows looking at us strangely. Shall we run away.?”

My friend Said, it won’t do any thing and just wondering how we came there. Then we walked down to the foot hills. There was a hut where we got water to drink. We were so thirsty and thanked the people who gave us lots of water.

We walked to the road and then took steps to Marudhamalai Murugan Temple.

We came back home at around 8 0 clock and told our parents with exitement that we went to Anuvaavi , climbed the hill and went to Marudhamalai. They said not to climb up the mountains any more.

These days, there are people who go on trekking etc in various mountains in India. May be I am scared to go on trekking like this but I will never forget the little adventure myself and my friend had.

Note – Do not climb This or any mountains without help of people from Forestry or related professionals. The article’s aim is to inspire you and take you through an experience and not to encourage you to climb alone or with friends. Its dangerous. You can peacefully reach any of these temples with your vehicle, public transport and take the steps. We also took the steps only to go for darshan. Only thing we did is go the the tail of the mountain where height is less and climbed up and it was a decade back. Now it might not be safe to climb.

Coming back to our Topic, there are Sai devotees who gets fed up with life when things don’t happen as they desire and when they face difficulties in life. Sometimes, people stop worshiping Gods as they could not find a way their problems will be solved.

All we can do is keep the walk, keep going with confidence and some day you will be able to cross the worldly mountain. The mountains here are actually easy to climb and I don’t want you to try that because you may face dangers while doing so and that’s not the goal of the article.

The mountain here means the “Journey of worldly life”

Men and women who has responsibilities towards their family might have to face lots of difficulties and burdens in their journey of worldly life. Did you hear people saying, “I never thought such a problem would arise in my life?” . Life is like this where difficulties and obstacles as big as mountains emerge suddenly and we are supposed to climb up and cross it over to find peace.

This is a long journey and during our effort, we might come across various experiences like the Cows we came across. he he…

Keep remembering Gods you love and also your Guru Shirdi Saibaba in the journey of wordly Life.

You can surely climb up the mountain and never think Sai is not helping you.

Sai is giving you this wisdom to make you a better human being.

when you reach the peak of the Mountain, you really have served Sai in your own way.

Because Sai wants you to live on Top.

Be good. Keep doing good. Keep spreading love and Face life as it comes.

Always in the holy feet of Shirdi Saibaba

( I never say about StarSai in office. Today I had a dream as if the friends in my office found out starsai and looking at me why I hided it all the time. Other day one of my friend took my purse and saw what I kept in it. I kept praying baba, let him not see the the little StarSai card I printed to give as gift to Sai children. He took it and read “StarSai.com” and kept it inside. I prayed Baba, let him not remember it baba and I hope he don’t. May be he does.)

StarSai is my treasure and I know who Sai wants to come here will come no matter how much I try to hide. Anyway, sometimes, I feel that I lead two life. Two face book , one for work, one for Sai, Two Linked in, Two Google ID and this is because people don’t really understand feelings of a Sai Servant. World calls me not being practical. Ya I am not and that’s why StarSai is born.
