My Mom’s doing good by Sai grace. I came back from Tirunelveli this morning. I met cousins and had good time but as day moved on, I got bored. I directly told them “I am getting bored’ but managed to pass the time. In the evening, I went to Nellaiappar temple. One of this priest was showing faces to other priests. He was showing Aarti lamp to Gods and speaking that he planned to give 2 lakhs and buy some stuff etc. I was really annoyed because some people must have a charming face. I get irritated when Doctors show such horrible expression as if they are supposed to be irritated with patients. Similarly, very few priests these days know the value of their work.
I went to Gandhimathi Amman sannidhi and felt so divine there.The priest there was very dedicated and did pooja very humbly reciting holy mantra. I kept staring at the Goddess for more than 20 minutes as its not much crowded. I did archana and the priest offered Kumkum under holy feet of Gandhimathi and gave me the prasad. Only very few moments, I will get such divine feeling in my heart. This Goddess statue is tall, human size and wearing a green silk saree. I could feel her unconditional love flowing from her eyes.
I used to do Kumkum archana to Mahalakshmi some years back. I stopped being too religious as my parents were bothered that I will become a saint. Gradually, I changed myself. I honestly can’t prove anyone that Sai wants you to enjoy your life. Allot a time for divinity and be true to Sai. I know Sai gave me both sides of life and I have a balance in it.
Saibaba encouraged going on a pilgrimage and also worshipping Gods and Goddess we love. He basically wants us to follow our tradition. So I enjoyed having holy darshan of Goddess Gandhimathi.
