I wish to chant Sai, Sai, Sai

Sairam friends,

Last evening, when I went to Shirdi Saibaba temple, one of my friend who does seva by sweeping the main hall of temple, gave me a lemon. I was actually planning a screenplay based on “Lemon” – A fantasy humor because my friends kept asking me to make a short film this year also at work place. I am not sure if I will work on it because I like to shoot with good Camera.

I also don’t feel like writing a story as I am depressed. Anyway, If everything falls in place, I shall do it or I am going to let go. When I got lemon in the temple, I considered it as a gift from Saibaba.

I little upset with Saibaba last night. So I did not hug Sai Satcharitra and slept off.

I was blessed with an auspicious dream.

It was like…

I meet my friend Ashish in Mumbai but the location is like Chennai and he tells me “There’s a very good mall here where we can go and have food”

Then, I see myself with my Uncle who takes me in a car in a street. I see a women selling pooja items in the road side.

I get down the car and ask for Beetle nuts, 2 Banana and 2 Kumkum packets.

Then, I change what I want – I ask for Beetle nuts, 2 banana and one Kumkum packet.

My uncle offers to pay Rs.50 but I tell him that I shall tell him that I shall pay.

That’s it.

I also had so many other dreams which I am not able to remember. I woke up and kept looking at Saibaba and Lord Dattatreya statue in my room for 5 minutes. I felt, that I am not showing devotion on Sai as before. I am simply doing pooja mechanically without pure love on Sai.

I opened Sai Satcharitra and it landed on a page where it reads…

Though Sai Baba acted outwardly like an ordinary man, His actions showed extraordinary intelligence and skill. Whatever He did, was done for the good of His devotees. He never prescribed any asan, regulation of breathing or any rites to His Bhaktas, nor did He blow any mantra into their ears.

He told them to leave off all cleverness and always remember “Sai” “Sai”. “If you did that” He said, “all your shackles would be removed and you would be free”.

I wish to leave everything else and simply remembering Sai by chanting my Guru’s holy name.
