Lord Guru bhagavan blessings

Sairam friends,

Today – June 14th 2014 is the planet Guru transit. We worship him as Guru Bhagavan and devotees who wish to do pooja in temple would have given their names. Few weeks back, My Father was very much interested in giving a gift for devotees who do pooja for Guru Bhagavan in our colony Siddhi Vinayaka temple.

I previously wrote following articles about Lord Dakshinamurthy

Sri Dakshinamurthy – Lord Shiva as the Universal teacher – Sai, Save Elephants

It was a Sunday afternoon when the priest, my father and myself spent time in the temple to do decorate Guru Bhagavan and do a simple photography.

I was surprised to see that the priests are using the painting kit which artists use to paint the mouth and also do eye brows for the Gods and Goddess Statues.

May Guru Bhagavan bless us all with good health, harmony, peace and happiness.

I took few photos and showed my Father. He said, “Elephant is very important for me and we must make sure its visible”… So my father took the brush and painted the Elephants trunk.

Finally, after taking more than a hundred photos and lots of artistic work from the priest and my Father ( he he…). I finally selected few good photos for printing. Next day, my father wrote a sloka of Guru Bhagavan. I printed around 300 copies and came home.

The priest said that the spelling in Tamil sloka is not correct. I got really irritated and told my parents “All the Gods wants me to work for them and makes me do more work. They are not satisfied with the little Seva I do and no one cares for me well being also”.

My Mom also felt painful when I said this and shouted at my father that they find mistake in what ever I do. My Father said “Your life will be good”. I gradually cooled down as my Father really wanted to give these pictures as Gift to devotees during Guru transit. Hence I again went to the printing house on a Saturday evening and did corrections in a sticker.

My Father stuck these corrected mantra alone over the photo patiently on each and every one of these 300 photos.

Moral of the Story – You can have lots of money. Simply donating is not enough. You must make sure, you give it to the right place and people.

Secondly, Money isn’t enough if you want to do any little good deeds. You really have to take effort and might have to spend sometime in your busy life.

The most important of all lessons is the fact that if we are reciting or writing a holy Mantra or Sloka, we must make sure its pronounced and spelt right. Every Mantra has a life force in it and we must keep it as a treasure for humanity.

“Devotees clean temple, They do auspicious pooja, Some build temples and many can do the kind of service I do but what matters is pure devotion and ability have some patience. “

So here’s Beautiful Guru Bhagavan for you…

When I am writing this my Father laid down saying he’s feeling dizzy.

Sai, Please bless my sister, BIL, Katya and my parents with good health and long life.

I love them so much

I need to be with my Father

Hope all of you felt blessed

Venkat

Edit: My Father is fine now though I wanted to take off from work and be with him. My Mom asked me not to worry and go for work. I opened a Saibaba’s book and it took me to the below Sai leela.

Sai Leela 1 – Sai Raham Nazar Karna Bachhon Ka paalan Karna

Sai saves and Sai always does all he can for us. My Father also told me, he feels better now and just that he’s getting Old. He will be doing seva in the temple today along with his friends as its Guru transit.

OK friends. I am going now.
