I was telling my Mom about my past memories of giving Saibaba photos to devotees as gift and I have been doing it for 10 years. I asked my Ma, “If Gods and Sai helps someone who does good karma, then why they did not bother me yet?”
Doing a Good karma for 10 years seems is not enough for Sai?
My Mom told “May be its your duty to serve Sai and you are indebted to him. God chooses some people to work for him and he alone knows what’s good for us. So may be God has really done good to you.”
She told me this story..
In Rameswaram, Lord Rama first consecrated a Shiv Ling which is the present main deity – “RamaLingeswarar”. Then, Rama called his ardent devotee Hanuman and asked him to get 2 Shiv Ling from Kailas mountain.
Hanuman was already egoistic and full of pride since he has victoriously taken Sita back from Lanka.
So Hanuman told Rama with pride ” Is that a big task for me. I can do it easily.”
He flew to Kailash and looked at the 2 Shiv Linga.
Hanuman again looked at the Shiv Linga to be too weightless for him huge strength. Egoistically, Hanuman lifted the 2 Shiv Ling with just one palm and flew back fast to Rameswaram.
Now, Rama asked Hanuman to consecrate the 2 Shiv Linga from Kailash in other places of temple since the main deity “Ramalingeswarar” has been already kept by Rama.
Hanuman smiled to Rama and told him “What is this you have done Lord? I went all the way to take 2 sacred Shiv Ling from Kailash. So only my 2 Shiv Ling must be kept as main deity.”
Sri Ram told Hanuman, “As you wish. Try to remove the Ramalinga which I have already consecrated. If you can do it, then, you can keep the 2 Shiv Ling you got from Kailash as main deity.”
Hanuman said “This is very easy for my huge strength Rama. I will use my tail to pull the Ramalingeswarar right now.”
Saying this, Hanuman circled his tail around the Shiv Ling and began to pull it with all his strength.”
Hanuman kept pulling but seems the Shiv Ling kept my Rama cannot even be moved a inch.
Hanuman doesn’t want to give up. He kept pulling and to his shock, the tail got cut off.”
Now, Hanuman realizes his mistake.
He said “Rama, Its all your work.”
Now, Rama said ” When I asked you to get the 2 Shiv Ling from Kailash also you said its an easy task for your strength. When you saw the Shiv Ling, you carried with one palm because of your ego. And finally, you thought, you can move Ramalingeswarar too and replace it with your 2 Shiv ling.”
“I want you to realize that your power and ability cannot go beyond Gods will and everything happens by Gods will.”
Hanuman fell in Sri Ram’s feet and asked him to forgive him. Hanuman happily remained as simple as he was before.
My Mom told me that “I must not always think that I am doing all this for Sai and Sai is not helping me back because its all possible only by Sai’s will.”
I know all the little things I do for Sai is Sai’s blessing on me. Just that when my parents worry about me, I feel little pained.

We must consider all that we do for Sai and God as our duty and keep doing it for life time.
After all, I did not do much.
