New year blessings from Shirdi Saibaba

May Shirdi Saibaba bless you and your family with good health, peace, harmony, happiness and prosperity.

One of my Sai friend Apurva from Madhya pradesh sent photos of sacred river Narmada which made me really happy. I was so happy to see Goddess Narmada – Mother of River Narmada. Since its New year, I shall first present you pictures of her Pooja place.

Yesterday, She asked me what she must do on 31st being last day of year.  I told her, light lamps to Sai. Today, she sent me beautiful photo of Shirdi Saibaba with 11 lamps. I felt good she took my words and followed it.

The best part is she took these photos of Sacred river Narmada especially to send me.

Apurva also sent me beautiful photos of River Narmada which flourishes Madhya pradesh.

So happy and good to eyes to see so much water..

Now finally comes Goddess Narmada – My favorite !

 

Apurva sent me beautiful photos of floating these lamps on the holy river. I was so happy to see it. I love river so much and surprisingly, the next day, I saw a dream of very very divine white elephant.

About Sacred Narmada river: 

To Hindus the Narmada is one of the five holy rivers of India; the other four being Ganges, Yamuna, Godavari and Kaveri. It is believed that a dip in any of these five rivers washes one’s sins away. According to a legend, the river Ganges, polluted by millions of people bathing in it, assumes the form of a black cow and comes to the Narmada to bathe and cleanse itself in its holy waters. Legends also claim that the Narmada River is older than the river Ganges.

Legends also say that for Lord Shiva, the Hindu God, the river is especially sacred on account of its origin, and it is often called Shankari, i.e., daughter of Shankar (Lord Shiva).

OK….That’s it friends…Now few words about how I spent past few days when I din’t post on StarSai.

I was busy making a Short film with my friends the past 15 days and really my regular time to write in StarSai was occupied with various work I had to do. I really got bored of the film by the time I finished it especially because I had to edit it for hours and once the film is created, we loose interest in watching it.

Finally I am back. Back to Sai. Back to my regular schedule and back to take care of my soul – StarSai.

The past 15 days was hectic as friends wanted me to do short film. We worked on it day and night and there were 2 stages when they wanted to drop the project but I believed we can make this film irrespective of any hurdles. One of the most interesting thing about shooting this film is the last day of shooting. I took out the mini DV tape and casually tried to load the fresh tape to shoot next scene. To my shock, the camera was not inserting the tape and I was totally devastated.  We were shooting in my friends home and everyone were fed up as it was around 10.30- 11 at night already.

There was just two scenes to be shot. So I kept the camera in pooja room of my friend and we had dinner. Then, I took the camera and tried various tricks to make it work. Finally, I found that the tape gets loaded if I hold it in a particular corner and I thanked Sai for it.  The next task was to digitize the footage from Tape to computer in my editing software. For this too, I had to hold the camera tight so that the tape gets inserted and plays.  Believe it or not, until I got all the materials to edit, the camera finally went down. I must say its Sai’s grace it worked until I got all the footage to edit.

When ever I write any script, I have an visual imagination of how it must look like. I thought my friends home will have coconut trees but they din’t. Fortunately there were love birds and they were so cute. So I took enough footage of love birds and used them as environment to create scenes and scene change over. After I shot a scene near love birds, I joined my palm and thanked them. My friends would have thought its foolish but I told them, these birds helped us make our film.So we must thank them.

After many years, I took my Tripod, Camera, my favorite editing system – Avid and yes, my love for writing. I wish to write complete Feature film screen play as have I done before many years. Lets see what Sai wills.

Today, there was an screening event of short films at work and I liked few movies. Everyone had tried their best. Like there was a film about a village guy turning as a star – One of the best works I have seen. Another was thriller kind etc. Somehow, Everyone liked the film we made. Though the judge appreciated it for the way I directed, edited and the Camera work, my personal satisfaction is that I was able to show on screen what I wrote on paper. It was a 32 page script, we skipped few scenes and I took off one scene though we shot it. All these aspects gave a flow to the film.

Every day, I used to be awake until late night doing editing and one day, I never slept and directly went office for next day. For all these efforts, I felt happy for everyone enjoyed the Short Film.

I like to make people laugh. It gives me immense pleasure when I can bring happiness into others heart.

My parents were happy as they know how much I love film making.  I love telling stories. Stories which speaks about life of ordinary people.

On the positive side, all went well but on negative side, I know someone will say am not dedicated to my work the way I took interest in this project. Its true. May be I am not. My life took so many turns and I started accepting life as it comes. I am here to earn my living. There’s always difference between doing what we love to do and doing things to earn our living. I accepted this life as It helps me live with my parents.

Other than that, I just don’t even know what my life will be few weeks, months or years from now.

I wish to do a work for Sai devotees. Hope Sai shows me a way to do it. Years back, I had a plan to travel from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and make a film but it din’t work as I was not able to write a screen play for such a concept. I might work on it in future.

I have seen few girls and guys in our office very dedicated and sincere working for long hours. I believe these are truly amazing people and I felt good that at least for 30 minutes, I could make them laugh and relax. There were other such works which were amazing and made us smile.

 

My next project will be for Sai. I wish it is for Sai.

One of my temple friend called me two days back as for first time in many years, I din’t go to Saibaba Temple continuously for over 10 days. I told him about this Short film am making. He said, make one with temple friends. I said, Surely I shall do it.

Now my camera is not working but I feel satisfied. Why should I write about my experience of making a short film in StarSai?

There’s a reason.

You remember two month back, I had been to my Mom’s hometown and I told you that while sleeping, I had dream Vision of Goddess Saraswathi.

This is what I wrote

“There are few Visions and dreams which we can’t completely say to everyone. Its like too divine and surprising that I wonder if Saints have been so kind to me. On 20th October 2013, I had a vision of Goddess Saraswathi. She was truly blissful and divine. She saw me as a child and blessed me. Then I experienced something I never imagined in my life time.”

From October 20th, I continuously got dreams of Ma Saraswathi.

She did something to me which I can’t reveal but I was too honored for her kindness towards me.

I am too tired now. Feeling dizzy…I wanted to sleep peacefully after 12 days. Its New year and I wanted to present something for Sai children. So writing this article for over an hour.

I am happy to show you Holy river Narmada. She’s Ma Narmada. May Shirdi Saibaba and Goddess Narmada bless us all with good health, peace, harmony and happiness.

Tomorrow, there’s some traditional event and we are supposed to wear Veshti – Traditional dress. I have never worn it before as its not comfortable for me. My friends wanted me to bring it. So no other go.

Apart from all my stories above, I wish to share something beautiful about life.

Keep remembering Sai and do your work. There are so many desires which will never get fulfilled or which seemed to be a day dream but certainly Sai has a plan for us.

If we have immense Faith and Patience – Shradha and Saburi, Sai will take us in the boat of love in the river of worldly life.

This morning, I was blessed with a very divine dream. It was like I am in our canteen and giving some money to cashier for 2 coffee. The lady there gives me balance of 100 Rs. It was torn. So I ask her to replace it. I also find its not original currency itself. It was written Ambika along with a seal…I shout at her saying this is not original rupee. Give me real rupee. She never bothers and it seems am supposed to keep the same rupee printed Ambika in it.

I woke up and realized we call Goddess Parvathi and Durga as Ambika Devi and some call her Ambe Ma.
