Is it possible to simply think about Sai and work only for him?

It was my long time desire to attend a Business event which never happens in Coimbatore. ( I used a different term for the event as I don’t want people who search for that term to land in this page.) Today, I attended the one which happened in PSG Tech and felt really satisfied. The problem with working in some organizations is that you love the work a lot but they don’t encourage you attending such events thinking you are planning something else. Anyway, I had to search a lot to find where exactly the event was happening. I expected a bigger crowd but very few had come. I wish students and professionals in small cities and towns of India must actively learn and grow. I wanted to do something from my part. Hence, I walked down to the ground floor, stood near the entrance and was guiding people about where the event is actually happening. Finally, the 1st year students came near the steps and asked where’s the e Club event happening?

I was blinking for a minute and realized they meant the Entrepreneurs club. I directed them and then attended the event. I honestly expected senior year students to participate actively in such events but really upset to see none even know about such event happening or all of them are busy studying or doing other most important thing in their life.

I spoke to few guys and some were really passionate about the work they do. I was really upset due to an incident. I kept asking Baba why I face such a situation? I felt its better I don’t speak to anyone here after and silently attend such events. Not sure if I could do it. I must either be happy with the Job I have or take risk in life. I can’t take risk with out any reason and hence I have to be calm. Then, I went to Nagasai Mandir and came around dhuni for few minutes.

When I was in temple, I mostly think about my dreams in my life and also about Sai.

I was wondering if It is possible for someone to simply think about Sai and work only for him?

Let me put it like this..

There are people who write me saying, I am depressed. All my life is spoilt and hence I am planning to settle in Shirdi and do some seva there.

OK. Now, let me clarify, Shirdi is as expensive as Mumbai when it comes to cost of living. Its where you must stay maximum for a week and thankfully come back because Shirdi is like a School. You learn something from Sai, You see his Samadhi and request him to guide you. That’s it. Come back and do your work. Focus on your studies, career and life. Sai also loves this only.

When ever I start to work on other projects, I used to think why not focus only on StarSai and be happy with it. There were skillful musicians and poems in ancient India who decided that they will only sing and write in praise of God and not anyone else. It works for some people but Sai wants his servants to focus on wordily life with righteousness and purity of thought and action.

I can always chant Sai’s holy name in my heart and lips. I can serve him when ever I find time and interest but Sai Baba does not expect me to do that as my only work. Sai wants me to be responsible and engage in wordily business. May be that’s what makes Shirdi Saibaba a very unique saint.

He wants You to focus on your life and if you do your duty properly at every stage in life, You are making Saibaba happy about you.

Its possible to live only thinking about Sai and serve him all day and night.  You can say that “I am working for Baba” and do some seva. For a priest, its his way of life but when you are simply trying to do seva, please ask yourself if Saibaba likes it.

I don’t think Saibaba will be proud of that.

Focus on your life – Your Career/Business and just remember Sai when ever you find time.

Sai lives in your heart and wants you to go over the seven seas, work hard and achieve great heights. Simply remember him humbly when you have time.
