Sai blessed me when I was hungry

Sairam friends,

Hope all of you are doing well. I am writing this in hurry now. Yesterday was the day when Sai appeared as Snake in Nagasai mandhir (Celebrating Sai leela which happened on Jan 7th 1943). So I went to temple in the evening. Usually, I remember my friends used to call me for carrying the Palki of Saibaba and I will go early from office. This time, no one called me and I also din’t realize there will be a palki festival.  As soon as I entered Sai temple, I saw crowd of devotees carrying palki and I told Saibaba “Now you have so many people to take care of you. So you forgot me Sai and you din’t call me to carry you”.

I lit lamps, went to main hall and took some pictures.

They had decorated Shirdi Saibaba very beautifully and I felt good about it. I wanted to go home soon as I was hungry. I went to ATM as my friend asked for some money. I came back to temple to give it to him and walked back to move out. They have organized some dance performance from people in ooty. A girl was dancing very gracefully and I wished to take a photo in mobile. All the devotees were enjoying it. I din’t took photo as I don’t want to show a girl’s picture with out their permission in StarSai. So again I started walking as I was hungry.

My friend called me and asked me to come back of the temple. He gave me some snacks mixed with honey. I have never had such a snacks before in my life time. I told him that I was hungry and wanted to go home soon. May be Sai realized it and made you give this snacks to me. He told me, Ya its Sai’s call and from on your life will be like honey….he he…

I also took some prasad for my parents and came home.

I wrote this article because many devotees have this experience of Sai satisfying them with some food or snacks when ever they are hungry. Even during saibaba’s life time a beautiful incident is there.

Once  a devotee came to Dwarakamai and was sitting along with crowd in front of saibaba. Sai had milk peda with him. Sai threw a peda to this devotee and he kept it inside a packet. Sai said “Its not to take home. Its for you to eat”. He realized Sai being antaryami knew he was hungry and made him eat milk peda.
