Sairam friends
Yesterday I started a bit early from work and went to Nagasai mandhir. I always like to go out before sun set…he he…so that you feel you are free to roam around. I lit lamps and wanted to go to Shakti Dham mandhir. While walking I came across a girl who’s father was close to be before 4 years. He used to come regularly to temple and at times chat with my friends.
I stopped and asked her about her elder sister who got married and then about her parents. She said her Dad is not well and admitted in hospital for 3 month. I felt really sad about it. I gave her little Sai pictures and Shirdi Udi just for my satisfaction because when people say such things, I feel like telling them Sai is there.
I went to Sakthi Dham mandhir, bowed to the Goddess and Hanuman. Then I walked back to Saibaba temple and was sitting near holy dhuni. One of my sister’s close friend came to temple after many years with her mom and sister etc. I saw her and felt its better not to meet them because they will ask if am married and I hate such conversation as if one who’s not married has lost his citizenship in India….he he…I moved away.
After a while, I felt its OK let them ask what ever they wish and came near dhuni. I called her and saw her little baby. They had come from Singapore due to lots of haze there due to Indonesia forest fire. She told me you lost lots of hair, not like before, etc . I kept smiling. You see one of those fake smile we Indians are used to when we meet people whom we are neither happy or sad about meeting.
She told me my sister has come too with mother, come to other side. I moved ahead and spoke to her sister and as I assumed her Mom asked “………………………………………?”
No prize for guessing what she asked.
I said , I didn’t yet meet the right girl of my kind. I added, I am happy now. I feel free.
While the Shej Aarti was going on, I thought life as a whole. People who are in good health suddenly fall sick and you can’t avoid to face few questions the world is used to ask especially if you are in India.
Anyway, This morning I woke up and listened to Venkateswara Subprapatham and Vishnu Sahasra Naamam as its Ekadasi.
The Ekadasi of this day is called Yogini Ekadasi. I got the below story of Yogini Ekadasi as a contribution message. Thanks to the devotee who originally wrote this.
Sacred Story of Yogini Ekadasi:
A king named Kuber was ruling a kingdom called Alkapuri. We was a ardent devotee of Lord Shiva and regularly used flowers during his Pooja. Hema Mali used to bring flowers for the Puja. Hemamali had a beautiful wife named Visalakshi. Once, after bringing flowers from Mansarovar, he did not go for Puja and started spending time with his wife. King Kuber kept waiting for him till noon time.
Then, he ordered his servants, “Go and find Hema Mali. Why haven’t he brought the flowers up till now.” When servants returned back, they said, “king, he is busy rejoicing with his wife.” Hearing this, king sent for Hema Mali.
Hema Mali was really scared of the King.
King said, “You have insulted Lord Shiva since you don’t bring the flowers on time for Puja. I curse you, that you will suffer the separation of your wife. And, you will have leprosy in the Mrityu Lok (earth).”
By the curse, he immediately fell on earth from heaven and became a leper. He got separated from his wife. He suffered many problems in Mirtyu Lok.
By the grace of Lord Shiva, his mind did not forget the works of his last birth and he started moving towards the Himalayas. He met a Rishi on his way. Rishi had great powers. At that moment, the Rishi appeared like an ordinary Brahman. Hemamali reached to him and fell in his feet.
Rishi asked “What did you to do suffer like this and you are in such a bad condition.” Hemamali told about his past life to the Rishi. So, the Rishi said “You have spoken truth infront of me. I will help you to get salvation from this state of yours. Observe the fast of Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha, Ashad month, called the Yogini Ekadashi. You will get rid of all your sins.”
Hema Mali became happy and observed the fast of Yogini Ekadasi regularly. As a result, he got back to his original form and started living happily with his wife.

Anyway, I feel blessed today because Sai blessed me with following dream.
I saw me and my sister in a temple of Lord Hanuman. We are getting Thirtha of Hanuman. Then I see that we both are in Lord Shiva temple where a lamp is lit beautifully. My sister lives in different city and Brother in Law in another city in U.S. By sai grace i pray she they live in same place so that they can take care of their child.
Then I saw another dream in which I saw one of my friend.
Ok friends,
