Om Sai Ram friends,
This is a Photo feature of a very famous Shirdi Sai Baba temple in Bangalore. All the Photos of Saibaba temple are used with courtesy.
To all the educated people of Bangalore
(Om Sai Ram, I am receiving calls assuming this is Shirdi Saibaba temple in Bangalore’s phone number. No. This is not the official website. This is an ordinary Sai devotee and this is my blog. You can share your devotees experiences to me through contact page but do not call me asking when the temple will be opened?)
The past week, I was thinking about writing about Shirdi Sai Baba temples and other Temples even if I have not visited them. Thankfully, because of my good Sai friend, Varalakshmi, I had visited Shirdi Sai Baba temple in Malleswaram.
This beautiful Shirdi Sai Baba temple is very famous in Bangalore. It is situated in Sampige Road in Malleswaram.
It was November 2018 when I went to Bangalore for a Workshop. Later, I attended a Photography workshop. It was post lunch and the workshop got over. Varalakshmi said she could reach the temple only in the evening by 4.30 or 5 PM.
So I decided to walk more than 6 Kms and finally reached the Sai Mandir in Malleswaram. I came around the temple and also found few photographs of ardent Sai devotees like Radhakrishna Swamiji. There was also a Photograph of a Sai Baba which was kept in memory of the Malleswaram Saibaba temple opening and Shivamma Thayee.
The Shirdi Saibaba statue in this temple was really beautiful and majestic. I liked the way Sai smiles in this temple.
Later, I sat in the corner of the temple in the hall for a few minutes and then left the temple.
Address: Shirdi Sai Baba temple in Malleshwaram
335/1, Sampige Rd, Vyalikaval, Kodandarampura, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560003
My good friend Varalakshmi also took me to other ancient Shiva temples nearby this temple.
We visited the following Temples in Malleswaram
1.Sri Gangamma Devi Temple
2.Sri Dakshinamukha Nandi Tirtha Kalyani Kshetra
3.Sri Kaadu Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple
There was a festival of Groundnuts going on when I visited these temples. So I felt auspicious. In the Sampige road, Malleshwaram, there will be entrance of Saibaba temple and Lord Shiva temple. On the adjacent road, there are entrances of other sacred temples.
I will update this article with better photographs of Saibaba whenever I find time.
Om Sai Ram
