Shirdi Saibaba and Goddess Mahalakshmi blessings for Akshaya Tritiya

Sairam friends,

Today I did some work during day time. We have to go to Chennai for my cousin’s wedding in June. So while I was booking ticket, I shouted at Mom asked her is it on 30th. My Mom fastly walked to tell me the date and was about to slip down and fall. She somehow balanced and I thanked Sai for that.

I remembered Sai’s experience I had few years back which I wrote in below article.

I also realized, I must not shout at Mom to ask any thing here after as she’s getting old.

My Mom washed the lamps all the bronze lamps we light infront of Sai and all the Gods I love in my Pooja place. Usually, when its off my Ma will push this work to me but today I escaped. Ma used to say “Its not enough if you light lamps. You must clean it often”. During evening, I asked Amma if she is going to keep kumkum on the lamps. My Ma said its my work as she can’t sit down.

I kept sacred kumkum over the lamps and my fingers became Red too.

 

I went to Rathna Vinayakar temple, offered Green grass to little Ganesha behind the temple under the Neem tree, lit lamp and then walked to Kamakshi Amman(Parvathi) temple . There’s beautiful Ashta Lakshmi along with Lord Sri Lakshmi Narayanan in this temple. I had divine darshan of the holy bath ( Abishekam) and then went to Annapurna temple. Then I came back and kept looking at how the priests are offering beautiful garland made of red roses,  yellow dress and lotus to all the 8 forms of Lakshmi.

At times I stood in the corner of a pillar looking at Lakshmi and chanting her holy name along with Shirdi Saibaba’s holy name. Then I sat few minutes. A girl was singing some devotional songs which few people were listening to. The temple was peaceful and I felt little embarrassed even the devotee who gave for Ashta Lakshmi pooja went away to sit in other side of temple. I continued to stand alone staring at gracious Lakshmi.

Then the priest showed Aarti of Lamps to Ashta Lakshmi. I kept chanting holy name of Goddess Mahalakshmi and hence I felt blissful in my heart. I really felt divine today friends. I fell on the ground bowing to Goddess Kamakshi and went to Shirdi Saibaba temple.

I usually don’t like it much when Saibaba temple is crowded during Thursdays. Sai is busy with all his devotees. So someone who goes temple any time he wishes must not bother Sai and his devotees during Thursday. This is my personal feeling. So I don’t even enter the main hall of the temple.  I simply went to to Dwarakamai and came home.

I gave the prasad to my parents, had dinner and now writing this article.

Its good to give something as a gift on the holy Akshaya Tritiya. I wanted to buy something to give my friends but din’t go to shops where I can buy things.

Mahalakshmi Sahasranamam – 1008 holy names of Goddess Mahalakshmi

As you all know my favorite Mahalakshmi temple is Kolhapur Mahalakshmi. I really wish to go there sometime in my life and to me Sai himself is Lakshmi as many times Sai has blessed me in dream as Lakshmi.

Lakshmi is Goddess of mercry. She protects her devotees like eye lid protecting our eyes.
