Shirdi Saibaba's care for Children

Sairam friends,

The first incident Hamadpant witnessed in 1910 when he has darshan of Sri Sai Baba is beautifully described in the holy book Sri Sai Satcharitra. Sai Baba sits in Dwarakamai grinding the wheat and some women devotees of the village join him to do the work. Then, Sai asks these Women to spread the wheat flour around the border of Shirdi Village. How beautiful was this Sai leela which stopped the spread of Cholera epidemic into Shirdi Village.

What’s the connection between Wheat flour and the Cholera epidemic? I don’t like to call it miracle or even Sai Leela. Its his own way. Its our Guru’s way of caring for his children.

If Sai don’t care who else will? He cares for each and every life in this planet and beyond, be it Human, Animal or bird.

I wanted to be with my Mom as she was sick and did not go to Saibaba temple. I was watching videos online and reading few articles. I kept worrying what I am going to do with my life. Some how, In the recent days, I am closely following two issues.

1. How some organizations help students get better Education.

2. Humanitarian efforts done by United Nations.

This evening I was following some websites of United Nations and also read about Ebola disease and how its spreading fast across the Globe.

I wanted to do little I can and donated $10 to The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF )

Its not much though.

Its little I could contribute and really wanted to do it because I imagine the pain of these innocent children. I feel tears in my eyes when I write this. We worry about so many things about our own life but some people are suffering worse.

Let us pray for the Humanitarian Aid workers and Healthcare staff who are in the field helping Ebola patients. We must appreciate their efforts.

I am pleased that my Sister is a Research Scientist and want to inspire students to become scientists since we need more good researchers to create a healthier world.

May Shirdi Saibaba bless us all with good health friends.

I did not got any dream today and praying Saibaba to guide me. I saw the below twitter post of Chief Communications & Spokesperson at UNHCR, Melissa Fleming. I felt its worth sharing because many children across the world are suffering with out good shelter, cloth and Education. Over 5 million syrian children are living as refugees.
