Sai inspiring me to learn Social Entrepreneurship and Corporate Social Responsibility

Sairam friends,

This morning when I woke up my Mom was really in pain and she said she has severe Back ache. I thought I didn’t do a real good karma- a Good deed that reaches millions of people. I am simply going for work, doing little seva in temple and coming back home. Life has to be more meaningful that people are benefited by what we do.

Social Entrepreneurship

I have been planning to do something related to Social Entrepreneurship the past few days and working on it but I really don’t have time or funding to proceed. Further one feels secured with a full time job than trying something that may or may not work out. Since my parents keep asking me to study, I feel its good to learn something about Social Entrepreneurship.

People say that in other Business, Profit in terms of Monetary gain alone is the goal, in Social Enterprise, the service you do for the society along with a profit model is considered to be goal. Of course every business serves on its own. Have to try something to really understand rather than speaking about it or thinking about it.  When Sai wills, I might work on it.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility is another topic that interests me these days especially because its picking up in India. We need to learn how companies can give back to the society. CSR comes under bigger umbrella – Corporate Sustainability. There are many CSR Consultants in India associating with NGO’s and doing something productive.

In India, CSR can’t be truly implemented in most companies especially because even the employees are not taken care properly.

When it comes to Social Entrepreneurship, There are few things I tried earlier but I wasn’t successful in it. I love Books and have a vision to make people learn and keep learning.  Lets see how it works.

It has been 4-5 years since I promised Saibaba that I will complete writing the Book I started to write on my experience with Saibaba but honestly wasn’t able to do it.  Its my long time dream to sell at least a small Shirdi Sai Baba Book online through Amazon

I am not a good writer and starsai is filled with lots of grammatical mistakes…he he…I just want the experience of making a Book and publishing it. We need to try new things in life to keep life exiting and interesting. I have been successful to an extant in what ever I do for Saibaba. So life goes on like this.

Anyway, I hope Sai inspires me to learn and work on some projects soon that really makes my life meaningful.
