There are so many problems in India that praying for the U.S Government shutdown might sound too much but its just a prayer. It simply has to do with your good will and a good thought that people around the world must live in peace and earn enough to run their day to day life. People deserve the right to work and paid for it be it American, Indian or African. It doesn’t matter who you are.
Its simply a blackmail as far as I understand. The Republicans doesn’t want Obama care – The Insurance for all initiative to be successful and were ready to shutdown the government by not approving the spending bill. Politics is dirty no matter which country you are speaking about.
I was really concerned about U.S Government Shutdown and kept reading few articles. I felt really bad as , photojournalist Lynsey Addario tweeted from India that the shutdown was not being taken too seriously.
“I’m in India, and my driver and translator are laughing at U.S. govt shutdown. So much for world’s great superpower. It’s closed,” she said in a Tuesday tweet. –

Honestly, I accept few people might have laughed but they don’t know that its the Ordinary Americans who are damaged by this shutdown. People who work in Museum, Parks, Various Government offices and programs, National Weather Service, NSA who were busy spying on the world and their own citizens and even the NASA. All of them stays back home and some work without getting paid. Well. It doesn’t sound good when you ask someone not to work.
People asked to work without being paid or asked to stay home on unpaid leave is not something one can laugh and no one wants to laugh at others pains and difficulties. We want everyone to earn their living and lead a peaceful life.
It really bothered me as the above tweet was published in various News Media and its not really good to project expression of just two Indians in a Nation of over 1.3 Billion. Economically speaking, I hope it helps the Rupee gain its value over the Dollar as our situation has worsened due to weak Rupee the past few month.
Being a devotee of Saint Shirdi Sai baba, I care for everyone beyond the borders and I believe there must be people around the world who pray for the situation to improve in U.S and the congress arrives at a good solution and call their employees back to work.
U.S Government Shutdown – Prayers for people to return to Work
Many think the U.S is a rich country and every one can manage their life without work. Among these 8,00,000 plus people who are asked to stay back home, few might have good savings and can lead their life peacefully even without earning for few month. Some people doesn’t have so much savings and they depend on their monthly salary to pay house rent, buy grocery and other necessary bills.
Lets pray that the U.S Government finds a solution soon and everyone goes back to Work and live in peace. Imagine 97% of NASA is not working. How many intellectuals doing research in various science projects might have been affected?
Sai Bless Women and Children to get enough food
There’s another problem due to Government Shutdown.
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a federal assistance program of the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for healthcare and nutrition of low-income pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and infants and children under the age of five. The eligibility requirement is a family income below 185% of the U.S. Poverty Income Guidelines

As of today, agencies that coordinate WIC – a supplemental nutrition program for babies, children under the age of 5, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and women who have had a baby in the last 6 months – will not issue new voucher checks that clients use at the store to pay for bread, milk, eggs, cereal, baby formula and other items.
“Most people understand, but some are surprised,” Kim Ott, the WIC coordinator for Linn County, said of denying clients checks today.
“We have a few people who say, ‘How am I going to feed my baby?”
I hope the Shutdown ends soon by Sai grace and these Women and Children continues to get enough food and Milk. We can’t ignore basic needs of these people.

If you read the above dream I got few years back, You will realize why I pray for people to return to work. For majority of people living in a developed Nation like America, basic requirements of food, shelter and clothing are available but for few who are not able to earn their daily breed are going to suffer.
Its not just the people who lost job. Think about the people who have shops, restaurants etc and depend on tourism. Even these people are effected.

So the King is paid. The elite citizens who have enough savings can lead their life normally but think about the few who worry about paying their next months rent, bill and worse about people who suffer for feeding their children.
We really need to pray and you can pray as you wish.
Close your eyes for few seconds and pray that everything goes well.
If you are a Sai devotee, chant “Sai, Sai,Sai” for few minutes or simply remain silent. Let your silent prayer reach God.
It doesn’t cost anything but it means a lot to Sai.
We must care for everyone who are facing difficulties beyond culture, religion and country which makes us better human being and children of God.
Sai’s path is Karmamarga – Path of Works.
As I said, “Everyone has right to work and earn their living and it can never be stopped”
