Learn Saibaba Chanting

What you see is what you get

Sairam friends,

Yesterday, I was doing Photography with iPad at work and it was too hard to hold for long. Wish I am little bit stronger. After all, an iPad… he he…Few years back, I went to a Shirdi Saibaba temple with friends and stayed there during night. All of us slept near the wall of the temple. Thankfully the floor was clean but it was too cold for us. In the morning, none of my friends woke up and the priest already started Aarti. I ran to take bath and came into the temple. Surprisingly, the priest gave me the Aarti plate along with lamp in my palm. I took it and showed aarti to Saibaba while he was singing.

After 2 minutes, I realized how hard it is to hold Aarti plate. It was heavy and my hand started paining. I could not say anything and kept praying Saibaba showing Aarti. I even counted when is the Aarti going to get over so that I can keep the plate down. I realized being a priest isn’t easy job. It involves lots of hard work.

Its my long time plan to get a new DSLR but don’t think its going to happen soon.

Today, I wanted to write about something I really can’t write in StarSai but I could not avoid it anymore. I might hide this article if need arises in future.

What you see is what you get

I used to enjoy captioning for brands and I remember this caption of an Ad film – “What you see is what you get”.

To me, these words were really impressive and also carries an inner spiritual meaning.

Many of us do not realize the value of our vision – Ability to see. I get really irritated when several families watch shows on T.V believing that its their kids responsibility to focus on studies. Apart from this, we have huge problem of youngsters and elders – watching bad videos – Don’t want to use the right term for it but that really is a painful problem for Saints whom you worship.

Let me clarify something:

I am not against anything. You are not harming anyone but you are hurting the divinity in your family and yourself.

I know both girls and guys who say they watch such videos. I know women writing me that their husband is addicted to it (They have grownup kids). If I am writing about it in  Sai’s website, its because I have responsibility to do something about it. I cannot announce publicly that its wrong since I will be cornered as being too conservative. All I can do is tell you the Karmic impact of this act.Its pathetic. Families break apart due to this. There are incidents where career and businesses collapses because of such addiction.

I shall make it short.

1. Your home is filled with divinity even if you are not religious. God sends positive rays free of cost.

All the angels and saints live in you and your home. They protect you without your knowledge.

2. When you get addicted to bad habits as above, you are giving space to the evil. So who’s this evil? Is he/she a monster who is going to take you away and drop you down.No.

The evil I mention is invisible. It will do its work to take you down at the right time when you least expected it.

People can argue with me that its their way of life. I never stop anything but there are people who wish to come out of such habits whom I am trying to guide.

3. Be real. Show real love. Do not believe it anything that’s virtual and get addicted to it.

Further, When you see something good, you get good. Why on Earth, we give importance to having darshan of God and Goddess in temple?

Think about 1888- Some devotee would have learned about a Saint called Sai Baba in a far away village called Shirdi. They would have taken train to travel all the way to Shirdi just to have darshan of Saibaba. In 1888 traveling isn’t luxury. Why should we give so much importance to “See” a Saint?

There are people who get vision of God and Saints in their dream and during meditation but nothing compares to actual darshan of true Guru like Shirdi Sai Baba.

Hence ‘Seeing” is “Believing”

What you see is what you get.

When you see good. You really get good someday in your life.

Sai has assured

“When you look to me. I look to you.”

Once again, I am not too traditional and I am not going to say that you will be punished for what you do. All I can say is your life will be good, if you divert your mind to something better.

You can read some good books.

You can watch some good movies.

You can even travel to beautiful places with your family.

If you can’t afford to travel, you can go for walking to the street nearby.

World is too big to get addicted and spoil your life.

World is truly big to bless you with happiness.

You just have to get out and see how big it is.

Get out and Move on!

Why I wrote this article today.

Last night, I came home late. I felt my right eye has turned Red and it was hurting a bit. I was thinking why this happened? Then, I remembered Sai Eyes is going to expire today and I felt its better to ignore the site and don’t wanted to renew it for next year. I can’t spend often but seems Sai don’t want me think about money. I realized Sai Baba doesn’t want Sai Eyes to disappear because I created the site especially to spread the value of Vision. Sai wanted me to keep it safe, add better content to it and at least never throw it away. Why on Earth should Sai value the few words I wrote there. Its because Sai is hurt when his devotees are filling their mind with impurity.

The world is big and beautiful.

Get out and Move on!

Venkat

Edit: This morning, as soon as I woke up, I felt someone is subtly singing holy song of Goddess Abirami
