Sairam friends,
I had a very clear policy of writing about issues in other countries and culture in StarSai. Irrespective of all the issues happening in India, I avoid writing about it because if I feared it might get political in nature and that’s not what StarSai is meant for.
As I always say, my interest is not simply writing about “How to do Pooja for Saibaba”.
I believe, that’s not Sai’s interest too.
Sai wants me to react for every humanitarian issue I come across in my life.
My worries about India is gradual. It started over a year back and today, I am deeply rooted into such thoughts.
Today, One of my friend and myself were listening to audio which is going viral in Tamilnadu. After listening to it, I felt really pained thinking about future of the State and the Nation as a whole.
When I was faculty in a Film School in Mumbai, I have experienced some of my Students touching my feet when they leave the class. Some have gifted me a Sai’s Statue and Photo during Guru Purnima as they know that I love Shirdi Saibaba. This kind of Guru Bhakti is prevalent in Maharastra and they respect someone who teaches them.
The other day, went I had been to a relatives home near Marudhamalai, I went for a walk near the University. I was wonderding why people who are blessed with a resposible position are more interested in making money than transforming Education.
Just a month back, my only focus was on external issues like Syria and China. Now, I am really worried about my own Country.
I pray Saibaba to guide me on how to proceed. There must be some meaning to my life.
