Sairam friends,
Well I know who’s Shirdi Saibaba. I worship Sai with heart and soul like millions of his other devotees.
Just that, I don’t know to explain Shirdi Saibaba as a poor fakir who lived in a small village of Shirdi. What ever we read in Sai Satcharitra about Saibaba and how we worship in Saibaba temples are different.
In temples, we see Sai comfortably sitting as a Statue we all beautiful dress and garland. Some temples even have Air conditioner.
This is why many Sai devotees sometimes get fed up when their desire is not fulfilled and say that “Baba is happy. Just that my life is painful and Sai does nothing about it”
What you see in Saibaba temple is not how Saibaba actually lived.
While we all know this very well, most of us don’t have time to imagine Saibaba the way he lived.
The second issue is that none of us has seen Saibaba’s mannerisms. I wish to see how Saibaba walks, how he sleeps, how he speaks to his devotees, how Sai cares for his devotees and how he blesses them.
I have a deep respect for all our ancient saints because they truly lived a simple and pure life.
I honestly don’t know Sai.
I don’t his real worth.
I am just making use of Saibaba for wordily life.
I ask myself if I really love Sai the way I express?
It’s hard to get a Guru like Sai but have I ever realized this and behaved accordingly?
These days, whenever I sleep, I thank Baba for what he has given me. I tell to everyone and myself that Saibaba has done a lot to me.
I still feel that I am not giving back to Sai from my side.
I should find a way to learn who the real Sai is?
His inner most soul is all about love.
Sai is love.
Om Sai Ram
I am going to sleep now.
Venkat
